Empowering young people and parents through coaching
Debbie Morrow is a dedicated coach passionate about helping young people and teenagers navigate the complexities of life. With a deep understanding of the challenges of reintegrating into ‘normal’ life post-COVID, she provides a safe space for young people to rebuild confidence, resilience, and purpose.
In addition to youth coaching, Debbie supports overwhelmed and stressed parents, equipping them with the tools to foster better relationships and create a more balanced family dynamic.
Her experience also extends to leadership development, having worked with corporate and public sector leaders as a coach and workshop facilitator. Through tailored coaching, she helps individuals and teams develop the skills needed to lead with confidence and clarity.
Debbie is continually developing her coaching skill set and is committed to working within high professional and ethical standards. Her approach is built on empathy, practical strategies, and a genuine commitment to transformation, making her an invaluable support for young people, parents, and leaders alike.
As a mum of three children, aged 17, 20, and 22, Debbie has firsthand experience supporting them through the challenges of divorce and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. She understands the importance of communication and making young people feel heard. Her home is always filled with young adults—her children, their friends, and their friends’ friends—many of whom turn to Debbie for personal and career coaching. This lived experience gives her a deep connection to the struggles young people face today.
With over 25 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Debbie is passionate about fostering workplace cultures that inspire growth, engagement and innovation. Coaching played a pivotal role in her HR career, enabling her to support individuals and teams in unlocking their potential, navigating change, and developing the confidence to thrive in dynamic environments.
In 2014, following my divorce, I found myself standing at a crossroads. I knew that to be the best parent—and the best version of ‘Debbie’—I had to take a holistic approach to my life. That meant looking both inwards and outwards, understanding not just who I was in that moment, but who I wanted to become.
This was when I was first introduced to coaching. It wasn’t just about setting goals or solving problems; it was about shifting perspectives, unlocking potential, and truly listening—both to myself and to those around me. Coaching became a transformative force in my life, helping me navigate challenges with clarity and purpose.
As I grew, I saw how powerful coaching could be beyond personal development. In the workplace, I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact it had on teams and leadership. The shift from a traditional "tell" management style to one that empowered individuals through coaching was nothing short of revolutionary. Instead of managers dictating solutions, they began to ask powerful questions, listen actively, and create space for growth. The result? More engaged employees, stronger leaders, and workplaces built on trust and collaboration.
Since then, coaching has been at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m working with young people, supporting parents, or helping leaders develop, my approach is always centred on empowerment, transformation, and meaningful change. Because when we truly listen—to ourselves and to others—we unlock possibilities we never thought existed.
