Jane is a Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in helping people with autoimmune arthritic conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as osteoarthritis.
Jane aims to give individual care to each client, looking beyond a person’s symptoms in order to address the root causes of health issues. Jane’s goal is to help each individual to promote their body’s own self-healing mechanisms through diet and nutrition.
As part of her approach, Jane works with clients on digestive health, restoring immune balance, hormonal imbalances and supporting the nervous system which are often linked in the whole picture of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
As part of her practice Jane also offers functional testing to those who want or need it.
I have been naturally drawn to supporting people with autoimmune arthritic conditions due to my own experience with Ankylosing Spondylitis and have had the privilege of seeing people’s lives changed through Nutritional Therapy.
I have been working with clients since 2022 when I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the College of Naturopathic Medicine. I have also spent time supervising and supporting other students to qualify as Nutritional Therapists.
I am a registered Nutritional Therapist with The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the British Association of Nutritional Therapy and Applied Nutrition (BANT).

In 2016 I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (an autoimmune arthritic condition) which severely affected my quality of life. I was experiencing progressively worsening pain, stiffness and mobility in spite of all of the medication I was on. I stumbled upon a Nutritional Therapist who gave me dietary advice which I was keen to try as I did not want to go further down the route of medication. Within one week of making changes, I had halved my medication and within one year I was medication and pain free.
I embarked on a career in Nutritional Therapy, simply because I was so amazed at the impact that diet and nutrition made in my own life and health conditions, and I wanted other people to experience the same.
I am now able to enjoy hill walking, sea swimming and canoeing all of which I did not think would be possible. I love food and I am passionate about making healthy food taste delicious.
